When I started this blog back in 2007, I had no idea what the blogging world was all about, and I definitely never thought about setting goals. Back then, I just knew I liked sharing stories about our family.

I still LOVE doing that. I love sharing the trials I face as a mom and I love sharing the triumphs we have as a family. But, along the way, I’ve learned about the possibilities there are in the blogging world. I’ll never be a huge blogger and I’m ok with that. I just really enjoy it and I’m passionate about it.

I’ve attended a couple of blogging conferences and in March I’ll be attending Blissdom (with my Mamma!), the biggest conference for me, so far. The truth is, I couldn’t be more excited! There’s something about being in a room full of other bloggers who just “get” what I love. We all understand each other and I feel free to talk about exactly how much I love it. With my everyday friends, I hardly mention it, unless they do. Even then, I don’t really talk about it because I feel like such a blogging dork. Ha!

goalsI have several goals for myself and this blog for 2013:

  • Double my traffic
  • Create passive income {Make $$ from blogging!}
  • Work with more brands and share more things I know you will love.
  • Craft MORE and share more tutorials.
  • Do bigger projects similar to my baseball scoreboard or chaise lounge chairs.
  • Blog more about food and recipes.
  • Use my DSLR camera more. I’ll admit it. It’s really easy to whip out my phone to take a picture, but I never love the quality as much as when I use my big camera.
  • Open an Etsy shop. This is a goal of mine that is just in the beginning stages but I plan to make it happen this year.

I’m looking forward to see what 2013 has in store for this little corner of the internet. :)
