Bloggy Boot Camp was my very first big blog conference to attend. Although it really wasn’t big. With 170 women, it’s nothing like the BlogHer conference with around 5,000 bloggers! I knew I couldn’t miss this blog conference when they announced last year they would be making a stop in Dallas!
The biggest perk was meeting new bloggers who immediately became friends. I even let said friends hold my baby. 
The speakers were great and my favorite was definitely Laurie Turk from Tip Junkie. If you haven’t checked out Tip Junkie’s site, you SHOULD! Her blog is fantastic but her story is even better. Her rise to the top is very inspiring and motivational. She’s also not afraid to share her secrets. One of those secrets is an SEO ebook I’ve already taken advantage of since the conclusion of the blog conference. It’s just one of the many ways I’m hoping to better my little corner of the internet.
My favorite part of this blog conference was the chance to network with other bloggers. I’m always looking for other bloggers to connect with and finding those who live in DFW is even better!

There was a lot of time for chatting and laughing, with good food on hand.
My favorite part of our two day experience was getting to spend it with my mom {and baby}. I love having common interests with her and having fun things we can do together! She’s the one on the far left.
I’m quite positive the most precious attendant of the day was this little missy! She was my little sidekick for the day and of course that head full of hair brought lots of comments.
Bloggy Boot Camp was a blog conference I’m glad I didn’t miss! We had such a fun day talking “shop” with our friends and with a $99 price tag, it was well worth the money!
Looks like you had a blast! I am thinking about attending a conference myself, this post really helping with that decision. BTW your sidekick is adorable:)
