I’ve waited for this weekend to get here since last October!
That was when I found out The SITS Girls were bringing Bloggy Boot Camp to Dallas. After doing a little happy dance, my mom and I didn’t hesitate to buy our tickets.
Bloggy Boot Camp came to Texas in 2010, in Austin, but I couldn’t make the trip down there since the event was on the same day I was due with Riverson. Bad timing.
After that, I told myself I would NOT miss another Bloggy Boot Camp stop in Texas.
Not only am I not missing it, but I’m taking a date with me!
Brantley and I took part in the first two events for the weekend, on Friday night.
Kroger sponsored a great kick-off party with great appetizers and wine. All the while, it was great to talk to all of the other bloggers. However, because I had a beautiful little five week old girl in tow, she was the topic of most of my conversations, and it wasn’t because I was talking about her.
She’s just attracts attention because she’s cute! And awesome.
When the Kroger party finished up, my mom met up with us and we headed to grab some dinner in the hotel.
Dessert was brought in for all of us by King’s Hawaiian bread. It was a delicious White Chocolate Chip Bread Pudding With King Caramel Sauce. Y’all, it was sooooo good!! Thank goodness for that recipe so I can make it at home!
My mom and I came home saying, “That was so fun tonight!”
It’s hard to believe we have another day of fun ahead of us! I can’t wait to hear from some of my favorite bloggers, like Kathy, Holly, and Laurie. They have so much blogging knowledge! LOVE them!
Learning to make this little corner of the internet better and hanging out with other bloggers is exactly what I need. We just “get” each other!
I’ll be posting a lot of pictures to Instagram {I’m jroubinek if you’d like to follow me. I’d love it.
} and tweeting from @jmroubinek.
Do you have any interest in starting a blog or making your blog better? You should definitely check out The SITS Girls. A lot of what I’ve learned along the way has come from their website, in some form or fashion!

Have a good weekend, friends! I sure will!

I would love to go to bloggy boot camp one day. SITS is so great it has forever changed my perspective. I’ve now started a new blog that I think fits me much better.
Maybe Brantley will get her own blog soon. Featuring pictures of her cute little self.

Hi Jamie,
What a beautiful website and congrats on the new addition to your family.
So glad I found your blog through SITS Girls. BBC Philly was my first introduction to blogging and social media. I couldn’t believe how much information they packed in one day and I met some amazing other bloggers. BTW they had that amazing bread pudding from Kings Hawaiian at ours too!
I look forward to keeping up on your posts.
