I have always been a fan of CiCi’s Pizza.
Always.
As a poor college student, my roommates and I loved to eat there because it was cheap and GOOD! Not only that, but we loved hearing the trademark, “Welcome to CiCi’s,” anytime we walked in the front door.
To this day, it still makes me smile when I hear an employee say it so loud and proud.
A couple of weeks ago, I found out about a blogger lunch event they were hosting at a CiCi’s location VERY close to my house.
I thought about not going out of fear. The thought of taking two toddler boys and a newborn out of the house to a public restaurant by. my. SELF is down right terrifying!
But, then I started thinking.
- The boys have been cooped up in the house for a few weeks now because of their new baby sister.
- They love pizza!
- As I mentioned before, I LOVE CiCi’s!
- They would be able to play arcade games, which they love to do.
- I could hang out with other local bloggers I know and even meet some new ones.
So, in reality, it was a win-win for all of us.
I got the courage to load us all up and I’m so glad I did.
We got the VIP treatment!
And by VIP, I mean the kids had someone to take care of them while we got to hang out as adults. Woo hoo!!
The bloggers got to hear from a couple of the guys from corporate, which is located here in DFW by the way. I had no idea!
These guys wanted to tell us about CiCi’s Pizza Guest Appreciation Day on September 6th. That’s TOMORROW, y’all!
Tomorrow, at participating CiCi’s Pizza locations, endless buffets will be just $2.99 all day, from 11 a.m. to closing. $2.99!!! That’s it!
Pretty much a no brainer for me. Obviously Brantley doesn’t eat pizza, but if she did, that would be less than $30 for our family of 7. Who knows when we will ever go out to eat as a family of 7 {scary thought}, but if we did, $30 would be easy peasy!
Aside from giving us the chance to try out the buffet, there were cups with tokens for each child in attendance.
Once Langston knew he could play, that was really all he wanted to do, meaning I saw very little of him.
Riverson was back and forth from the games to his mommy and back again.
At one point, the girl who was watching the kids came out to tell me, “You have to come see this. Langston has tickets coming out of the machine and all over the floor!”
I rushed in there and rushed right back out to grab my camera. I had to document this because that’s what bloggers do!
Once we got them in to the prize machine it ended up being over 250 tickets!
Both boys went home with some really fun little prizes.
Because Langston played in the game room almost the entire time, he didn’t actually eat any pizza.
But, if you want to know what Riverson thought of his pizza, just ask him.
Langston has Mother’s Day Out tomorrow, but Riverson and I already have our lunch date all planned out at CiCi’s Pizza!
If you live near us, come join us!!

Wow. I haven’t ate at a Cici’s in SO long! I always loved it in high school and college, too. Glad y’all got to enjoy some good food and fun!
