Hi! I’m Jamie, the girl behind this mom blog! We live near Dallas and yes, I’m a mommy blogger. 
Jeff and I married March of 2007 and just celebrated our 5 year anniversary! Along with marrying him, I also married Hallie and Easton who were 8 and 6 at the time.
I ADORE being their step mom and I enjoy spending time participating in their lives. They are BUSY lives, too.
We enjoyed our time as a family of four….
but it wasn’t long before we became a family of 5!
Jeff and I were blessed with the arrival of Langston Peck Wayne Roubinek on June 7th, 2009 and now we are busy watching him grow.
Because we like babies so much, we added another little boy to the family just 16 months later.
Riverson Pierce Roubinek raced into the world on October 28th, 2010 and made us a family of 6.
If I had a dollar for every time someone said, “You have your hands full, don’t you?” we could be sailing on a yacht somewhere in the Caribbean.
As if those babies weren’t enough, we just welcomed Brantley Marie Roubinek in to our family on August 7th, 2012!
She was 6 days late and I’m not really a patient person, but that pregnancy ended with the most amazing waterbirth!
Our big family is complete!
I love taking on projects around the house and this past year, I even tried my hand at building some furniture. My favorite is to take older furniture and put a new paint job on it to make it my own. Garage sale finds always make fun projects, too.
However, my favorite project I’ve ever done is hanging on the wall of my boys’ room! It’s a custom vintage baseball scoreboard that is the focal point of the whole room. I love it and they do too!
I started this blog like a lot of other Mommy bloggers who just wanted to keep their friends and family up to date on what’s going on with their family. I have made so many new friendships through the blogging world and many doors have been opened for me, as a mom blogger. I’m having so much fun writing about all of the things that make our life so great!
