Family Pictures – Decisions

Well, after doing some serious digging through the ton of pictures taken of our family, it’s safe to say the perfect picture does NOT exist.  However, there are some that I’m happy to settle with and even happy to be happy with.  After a recent conversation on Facebook, my eyes were opened up to the fact that it’s ok to actually like the pictures where the two year old does nothing but cry, or the baby reaches to play with someone’s hair.  Both of these DID happen during our photo shoot. ;)

This was our best family picture, but there is no smile from Langston, and Riverson is focused so intently on getting his hands on that bow. :)

This picture just may make the Christmas card.  The vision I had for this picture is a little different than what you’re looking at, but it really does say: “This is our life.” Langston could live in that helmet!!!

I love this picture of us!!  He was so cranky that while we were waiting on everyone else, he was determined to get out of my arms.  Once I started swinging him around, he changed his tune.  You wouldn’t even know all the work I was putting in to getting that smile out of him.

The picture of just the kids is so great!  It could be because I was jumping around like an idiot behind the camera, just to make them laugh.

And, y’all, this picture cracks me up!  At first, I was really upset that this was how he was acting through the majority of our photo shoot, but now, I’m able to laugh at it. One day, I will be able to show this to him and we can all laugh about it.  {Little stinker!!}

This baby was great the. WHOLE. time!

Now it’s time to make a decision about what I want to print and frame, or not frame.  I know this time I want to get a canvas made of at least one of these pictures.  Have you ever heard of Canvas People?  They are a great company who make canvases from your pictures and they are ALWAYS running specials!!  As a matter of fact, right now they have a fall special going on.  I had Canvas People put our family picture on a canvas two years ago.  I always admire it and I’ve decided that with these pictures, it’s time to get another canvas.  Thank goodness for a DEAL!!!

You can get a free 8 x 10 photo canvas (just pay shipping!) OR you can get a larger canvas for 40% off + free shipping as a special introductory deal!

Think of the summer pictures you could put on canvas!  They make great Christmas gifts and while I haven’t bought one THING for Christmas, I am starting to think about it.  Check out Canvas People, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed!
