I remember the in 6th grade when I realized I could NOT see the board in my math class. I knew I had to get my eyes checked but I didn’t like the thought of wearing glasses. As soon as that boy, who was barely even a friend, told me I looked better without my glasses on, I was done.
I worried so much about what others thought back then. Really, I think every middle school kid does.
So much has changed since then and now I actually like glasses. I’m obviously not the only one since there are so many people wearing non-prescription pairs just as an accessory.
My biggest concern these days is finding a sturdy pair I don’t have to worry about my two and three year olds getting their hands on.
I found the answer.
The best part is Firmoo offers your first pair of their glasses for FREE! All you have to pay is the shipping. So, not only are their prices and choices amazing, but they’ll let you get your first pair for free, with only the cost of shipping. What’s not to love about that?!?!
As I mentioned before, my biggest concern when it comes to glasses, other than that they look good, is my freak out factor when I find them in the hands of my two or three year olds. I may or may not have more than one pair of broken glasses sitting in my bathroom drawer because of these boys.
I’m happy to report these things are sturdy and WELL MADE! I actually did not freak out at all when I found them on my three year old’s face. I even ran to grab my camera because he just looked too cute! Am I right, or what?
Firmoo also offers a Virtual Try-On System to help you find the right frames to fit your face. You can even upload a picture of yourself to try them on virtually. Pretty neat, I think.
I went away from the style I would normally choose and got a bigger frame. I thought it was fun, a little nerdy, and definitely trendy.
When I picked up our middle schoolers from school wearing my new glasses, our 14 year old told me I looked like a hipster and our 12 year old asked to try them on himself. Getting their approval without asking is a pretty big deal. I call that a “win” in my book.
Granted, it took me a little while to get used to them, since they are different from the style I would normally wear, but now I’m wearing them proudly. It’s fun to try a new style out! And if I get tired of them, I’m happy to head back to Firmoo to snag a different style.
Their prices are just that awesome!
**Disclosure: I received a free pair of glasses to facilitate my review but all opinions are my own.
