8 weeks to go.

My body is starting to remind me of that everyday.

I physically handle pregnancy pretty well.  I actually love it.  {Never doing it again, but I love it.}  Other than the first trimester, I’m usually pretty good with energy.

Well, this pregnancy is catching up with me, unlike my other two.  I still sleep pretty well at night, but I wake up exhausted!  And at night, when I put the boys in bed, I feel like I should just go to bed with them.

My energy has definitely tanked within the past week.  So unlike me.

I’m starting to do my checkups every two weeks and for the last three appointments, my belly has been measuring a week behind.  Langston was 10 days early.  Riverson was 1 day late.  I feel like baby girl will be late, too.  Probably better to prep myself for that now than to be so upset every day leading up to my due date, like I was with Riverson.  My entire pregnancy with him, I thought there was no way I was going all the way to my due date since my last baby came early.  I learned REAL quick that every pregnancy is different.

I’m still so very nervous about bringing this sweet girl in to our family.  The boys and I have been doing so well together, lately.  In spite of the fact that they push my buttons every single day, we are in a good routine!  Riverson is big enough to hold my hand while we cross the street now and it feels a little bit freeing to not have to carry a baby on my hip.  Not sure why but I’ve been anti-stroller lately, and I know those days are about to be done.

Life is about to change, drastically.  But, I know our family will be better for it in the long run.

Can’t wait to kiss that sweet face,

touch those tiny feet,

and have those teeny fingers wrap around mine.

  11. You look great :) My pregnancies are always easy, compared to the other horror stories I have heard, but I want to be done too. It’s so funny to feel the hard little baby butt (or head)  pushing near my belly button.
