Listerine 21 Day Challenge Recap

Now that we’re finished with the Listerine® 21 Day Challenge, I can honestly tell you I have noticed a huge difference and I’m much more motivated to create great habits for oral healthcare with my kids.

Because I’ve always been so fortunate with great teeth and just one filling in my whole life, I don’t put a lot of emphasis on my own oral healthcare and sometimes that brushes off on to the habits our kids make with their own oral healthcare.

I just haven’t put a whole lot of emphasis on it. Until now.

Fortunately, the little ones still enjoy it, so getting them to brush their teeth is so easy. For them, they see it as another way to put off bed time just a little longer.

Our big kids are a whole different story. They have to be told to brush their teeth at night and it’s a battle, oftentimes. :/

However, since we’ve started the 21 Day Challenge and I’ve started following in my husband’s footsteps with rinsing with Listerine®, we’ve been talking about oral healthcare more and just how important it is. They started taking notice when I told them that only brushing their teeth misses 75% of their mouth. Wow. And gross.

It’s hard to imagine that’s true until I started rinsing with Listerine® regularly and can truly feel the difference.

As you can see, my mouth really does feel different and sometimes I even crave that cleanliness feeling when I wake up in the morning and right before I go to bed.
