After posting about Shutterfly’s great deal for bloggers here, I earned 50 free Christmas cards. I was so excited about it and I couldn’t wait to get our family pictures taken. Since we had to wait for Riverson’s arrival to complete our family, we didn’t get our pictures taken until after Thanksgiving. I usually like to have it done WAY earlier. Instead, we went out on a freezing and windy day and had my mom take some pictures close to their house. We probably took about 200, but we ended up with one good one. I couldn’t believe we all had smiles and even Riverson had his eyes open.
Who knew that a country road could be such a great backdrop!
After all was said and done, I got to work on creating our cards. Fortunately, Shutterfly has so many options to pick from.
This is what we ended up with.
The quality was fantastic and I am so pleased with how they turned out overall. So nice to be able to combine Riverson’s birth announcement with our Christmas card.
We hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and are able to enjoy all of your many blessings to the fullest this holiday season!
