There are a lot of perks in the blogging world, and it’s one of the many reasons I have such a passionate love affair with blogging. 
Occasionally, some really fun perks come along, like when I got to drive the Chevy Traverse for two weeks. {Man, that was really great, and fun for my family!} Now that I contribute to a couple of other blogs, there are even more fun opportunities, the latest one being my 15 minutes of fame…sorta. Ha!
A few weeks ago, through Dallas Moms Blog, I got the opportunity to be a guest reader of a children’s story book at a local Gap store. The elementary teacher buried way down deep inside of me was screaming, “YES, how fun!” Not to mention, Gap has been one of my very favorite stores since I was a tween! Too bad our teenager doesn’t feel the same way.
I can’t tell you how much it pains me to return clothes I’ve bought for Hallie from there. She won’t even think about wearing it, so it just sits in her room, with the tags on it. If only I could fit in her XS clothes. Ha!
Gap is coming out with a brand new babyGap line called Peter Rabbit, inspired by Beatrice Potter. It’s so simple and cute! And let’s be honest, who DOESN’T love Peter Rabbit?
Gap sent me The Further Tale of Peter Rabbit by Emma Thompson and I’ve been busy practicing with the boys, getting ready to read it flawlessly tomorrow morning. 
They even made this cute little invitation and it has my name on it!!
What I really wanted to tell you is if you’re looking for something to do with your little one tomorrow morning, and you live in DFW, come join me in Frisco! I’d love to see you there!
