This weekend, between all of our Memorial Day weekend fun, I took the boys on a short walk to the end of our street a couple of times.
The first time was for a fun little picnic and soccer time!
Notice the weird way Langston eats his peanut butter and jelly sandwiches? One slice at a time. He gets so mad at me when he sees me putting the slices together to make a sandwich. He would much rather me give them to him separate. If, by chance, I give him the sandwich put together, he ALWAYS takes it apart and eats it one slice at a time.
So interesting!
This little guy doesn’t really care how he gets his food, thankfully, as long as he gets it.
He is, however, starting to pay a lot more attention to how his brother eats it and thinks he should follow suit. It definitely makes for some messy meals!
We played a little soccer together….
but their favorite thing to do was play in the dirt.
And, I let them.
We DID go home and have a post-lunch bath! I couldn’t stand the thought of dirt in their beds. Ew.
If you saw my post last Thursday, you read about me waiting for a new lens to come in the mail.
It came today!! I got the 60mm f/2.8 macro lens. Love it!!
And, what does any mommy do with a new lens? She snaps! A lot!
We immediately went back down to the end of the street and played a little more soccer.
And ate cookies, thanks to our friend Kyla!!
It’s sweet little moments like these that I never want to forget!
We have the best times together, doing such little things.
They will only be this small for so long.
I’m soaking it up.

Cute, cute, cute.
Dirt and cookies. Life is good.
I love the sandwich. THAT is priceless. I bet he does that the rest of his life. I always think it’s so neat how even with kiddos are that little…they know how they like things done. Love it.
Soak it up, sister…soak it UP!
